Dimensions acting starnge in layout

We are having some issues with dimensions in layout windows on Teamwork project. One team mmeber set up layouts for interior elevations, everything appears correct. Another team member opens layout and all of the windows are sized differently due to dimensions in the views appearing oddly. Some strings are to random points in space. Even if all are selected and updated it is still wrong. You have to open the source view (where all of the dimensions are indeed correct) and ten go back to the layout and update the view again, then they revert to their correct state.

Anyone else getting this. This is a big problem for us as a junior member of the team may be asked to print out drawings and may not notice the mistake.

That is depressing. This is a basic necessity for everyday work, and potentially a costly / embarassing error! GS, please address this issue ASAP Please!

We are also experiencing all the same issues - in AC13 build 3826. Can you please confirm your AC version and build number? If we transfer the file to AC14 can we expect the same issues?

Brendon,

Currently ArchiCAD 14 has the same issue, but we will soon release a Hotfix for ArchiCAD 14 that fixes this.

Thanks Gergely
Can I ask if there is a patch planned for AC13?

3826 was probably the last Hotfix for ArchiCAD 13.

We are getting overwhelmed with this issue.

We have hundreds of drawings on our layouts consisting of dimensions and we need to publish our entire set TODAY. The dimension issue was discovered a few weeks ago and the team had been directed to make them static.

Now we have the inability to update our drawings UNLESS we go to each one, open the source view, close it, and then update before publishing. This is what we are doing to ensure all of our drawings on layout sheets are updated with the source view. In other words, neither the automatic or manual update from layout sheets are functioning correctly.

There just HAS to be a better work around to this. Is this our only choice? Hope someone can pitch in otherwise we risk missing out on a critical deadline.

UPDATE - I saved the TW Project as a .pln file and as soon as I opened the .pln file, the dimensions on the layout sheet reverted to it's original (or UPDATED) position. Some dimensions had to be reapplied and be made static but at least the drawing on the layout sheet updated afterwards.

So, this is my work around for the time being - have all users send in their changes, one user will receive all and save it as a .pln.

From that .pln file - we will do our publishing since the automatic and/or manual updating seems to work correctly with the drawings on the layout sheets.

Although it's not perfect, saving a PLN from the Teamwork file is a good workaround. Looking very much forward to that hotfix...

Is this version 14? Just tried it on a large 13 project and the dimension are still off, and the views still have to be opened for it to update. I was really hoping this would have been a usable workaround.
