Dimensions

Previously I have used a programme that enables text below a dimension line, eg: room name under dimension. This enables the dimension to remain associative.

Do you know if there is a command to achieve the same and still keep the dimension and room name associative?

Many thanks

Adding text to dimensions as you describe will require placing the text manually with the text tool. I'm sure this is not what you were looking for, but at least the dimensions remain associative.

Perhaps you should add this to the wish list.

Objects Online has an add-on called Automatic Room Sizer that may be just what you are looking for. It labels the room and adds the dimensions...move the walls and the dimensions will change too.

Hi Steve

Thanks for your reply. Just wondering where I might find "Objects Online", is that within ArchiCAD or on the net?

Ciao for now

Hi Ben, is that you?

Khanh mentioned, "If that's a Double Espresso 1 sugar, then that's our Ben"

I've looked all over the Graphisoft site and can't seem to find the "wishlist", could you let me know where I can find it?

Thanx

Ciao

Lucie

Hi i have the same question, but seeing as this question was asked 6 years ago, I was hoping archiCAD may have added this feature. Anyone let me know if it is possible and how to do it.
