Does Plot Maker Effect the .PLT imported Files?

Hi,
When importing an AutoCad .PLT file to Plot Maker is this .PLT effected by my setting of Plot Maker, like the LINE & PEN settings?

I think, like every imported drawing, a PLT should also contain its own definition of pen set within it. This you can overwrite in PlotMaker after placing the PLT file.
I haven't tried it though, I am quite busy at the moment (day/week/year).

I guess it means it is not effected by the PM settings. Now, anyone knows where that option of changing the .PLT pen setting located?

Select the placed PLT file and choose Drawing Pens and Colors in the Options menu. Here you can View the Pens and Colors of the PLT file. If you want to modify them, you need to go to the Attributes Update Rules panel of the Drawing Settings Dialog, while the PLT file is selected on the Layout, check the Custom for this Drawing radio button, and uncheck the Pens and Colors checkbox. Then you will be able to modify the Pen colors and thicknesses of the PLT file.

In PM Preferences I have Uniform Pens & Colore for Drawings and Book checked.
Does this mean the lines in the .PLT file is unaffected?
Also do all these rules of not "effecting lines" of a DWG import into PM hold?

I checked this checkbox in Preferences and it seems to me that this is the strongest setting. If you check it, it overrides all the previous ones we talked about and it will be applied to all placed Drawings (PLT included) and all items on Layouts.

I wish I had more time to actually make it. But being 11th or 12th is still good enough for me
