Select the Layout Book
Select the master layout(s) to import
Note: You may need to open and save the PM9 file as an AC10 file first.

Open the existing PM 9 layout book in 10 and save as a 10 file.
May i know how to open or save it as A10, the existing PM 9 file? When i tried to open it with other application/programs like A10, it says "it is not valid Win32 application."
Or even when i open it in 9, then trying to save it as A10 file the only available file format is (*.lbk)...
Is there any possible way? TY
I have tried the option "File > Import"...using PM 9 to PM 9, but in A10 there is no "import" option but rather "place external drawing". Somehow, it is almost the same except i cannot import from any *.lbk file (for me to import the master layouts)...

Start AC10.
File>Open...
Set kind as All Files. Browse to the .lbk file in question. Select it. OK.
Now it's open in 10. Now Save As... another name, that sets it apart from the old one. It will have the .pln extension (not .lbk anymore), so I'd name it Name-lbk.pln just to distinguish it. Now it is a 10 file. Then proceed as Matthew and Mike has described.
Note that the process is quite explicitly explained in the first pages of the NewFeatures Guide. You should follow the instructions there to the letter. Then it will work.
Also note that the above could be shortened to RTFM!

What was wrong b4 was that i tried to open the PM 9 file on the "project chooser" on the navigator...*.lbk is not available. I tried also opening the PM 9 file directly right clicking and then trying to choose the A10 application but i was unfortunate...

Thank you again. This forum is truly amazing. Hope to communicate to you all again...

Thank you again. This forum is truly amazing. Hope to communicate to you all again...You're welcome. But next time I'd recommend a search in the docs first.
