Hi, Why the external walls are showing 240mm? It supposed to show 250mm.

You probably have the size of the wall without the finishing. Set the geometry method to single click thickness.

The 'single thickness' geometry method is good to use, but you also want to look at the 'Dimension Details' and make sure you are dimensioning the outer faces and not just the core (you can do both at the same time).

Thanks Barry for the reply, But when I used the outer faces option the internal wall shows 110mm, It should be 90mm. I'm confused how to dimension 250mm for the external and 90mm for the internal.

Hi, FP have you tried control or command clicking the outer edges of your external walls when adding dimension points ? You can dimension to core for internal walls as BK has shown you above and then manually adjust the dimensions for the external walls.
Please see this excellent video tip from James Badcock of GS, to help you out. Hope this helps ?

If I dimension manually and separate from each other, How can I create 1 line dimension? How can I put them together?

Hi there, you can still create your dimensions automatically to show your internal walls as 90mm with the correct settings. If the external walls are not shown correctly you can edit the end dimension manually to adjust it.

THANKS. one more question. When I create ceiling for the building, The height of the ceiling is lower than the spring level. I set the height of spring level 5000 in the project view map setting and storey setting but still is showing incorrectly.

No worries, click on your ceiling plane and look at your info box tab (the second line above your view screen) and change the level from there till it is at the right height.
Or click on your ceiling plane and open the dialogue box and change it from there.
Or right click your ceiling plane, click re-link to story and make sure it is on the correct story.
You can also re-set your story levels if they are not correct by going to Design < Strory Settings, set them from there. Look up story settings in the help guide.
Hope that helps.
