I am using plotmaker for AC 8.1 to do some graphic design layout work which involves linking some AC drawings, some photoshop images, text, etc. . . The usual stuff.
Overall it has worked pretty well, I like that you can hot link all of these images and drawings, then continue to update them in Photoshop or ArchiCAD, etc. and not have to re-link or re-insert them into the layout.
However, putting in text is still not very robust, in my opinion.
1. I wish I could use OLE linking of text like I could in Plotmaker for AC 7. Is this fixed for the Mac version of Plotmaker for AC 9?
2. Wish - It would be great if you could draw a text box of some desired shape, for example you could draw the text box to wrap around other drawings or images on your layout. Then when you type or paste text into that text box it would auto-wrap the text according to the text box shape.
3. Also it would be nice if they would add another text justification feature. In addition to left, right and center, I would like to have the ability to have it justify the left and right at the same time, like you can do in MS Word or other word processing software.
