How can you show the cover fill of roof in the elevation?

Should I use 'fill' for the roof surface?

'cover fill' option doesn't look like working for either floor plan or elevation.

Each time when I change the roof, I have to change the 'Fill' of roof.

If anyone know how to show the roof cover fill,

I'll really appreciate.

The cover fill will only be seen in the floor plan.
If you want to see a hatch pattern in the elevation then use a materail on the top surface of the roof that has a fill (hatch pattern) associated to it.
Then make sure that the vectorial hatching option is turned on the the section/elevation settings.

BTW: You can set the cover fill to match the 3D material for full coordination.
