Please help!
We are currently having problemns with Archicad trying to plot to our new Designjet 800 PS. The short of the problem is as follows. We have 3 G5 machines running the latest Mac OSX and one XP machine. We have (with assistance from Graphisoft tech) updated all seats of archicad to the latest build. We have installed all firmware for the HP. The drivers are all current. Oddly enough...one of our mac machines will plot from archicad without problems. One of them will plot everything except for one pln. file. The third Mac does not print at all. Archicad works without error until we select Print from the file menu. As soon as we select PRINT the application closes and sends a bug report. This happens everytime without fail. The problem only exists within Archicad as all other programs can print to the HP. The XP machine was set up with two drivers. The PS driver and the non PS driver. It prints without issue.
Does anybody have any information that could help us. We have spent two days now talking with ever tech we can think of. We need help!
How are you printing to the 800PS? TCP/IP, Appletalk, IPX, USB, Etc. Etc? If you are printing through the jetdirect card on your 800PS, have you made certain that the firmware is current on the Jet Direct card AS WELL?
