ok...I found it at the pulldown of:
Document>Annotations>Secondary Dimensions>Convert Dimensions....
but...as I stretch my object which stretches my "dimensions"...that secondary dimension does not revise itself automatically?
how can I get the secondary meter dimension to auto update?

Go to Document Menu

Down to Document Extras

Across and Down to Secondary Dimensions

alternatively, you can type Secondary Dimensions into the Search Bar of the Help Menu and it will light up the tool you need.

I don't have a "Document Extras" in AC20?
is there an add-on?
I'm missing something.

Also..seems the dimensions don't "auto update" when I stretch my object the dimension is associate with?

to update, highlight the dimension string(s) in question, go back to the same menu item and select "Refresh Converted Dimensions". just below

It's not automatic.

YES....I saw that "refresh" option but holy moly!.....really...it's a NON-ASSOCIATED text that resides under the actual dimension NOT automatic?.....Really GS? really.....out of all the things you didn't automate....this is NOT one that should have been left out.

Well, at least it's there. thanks for pointing that out.
I suppose I'll simply have to freeze all other layers, select all dims then do that process every time a new dimension is added....what a P.I.T.N.S.

Another great feature I wasn't aware of and pretty easy to find.
I would be also interested in both square meters and feet in area as I need that once in a while.
