Interior Elevation Markers

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello, I am working in Archicad 12 and trying to use the IE marker tool. I drew a bunch of interior elevations and they are in detail views, not IE. Can I link them up to the IE tool marker? I have all the view sets place on the sheet. I know I did things backwards, but I still would like to see if I could use this tool b/c it seems pretty nice due to auto updating. From what I can see, I can't do it.

Thank you,
Nick

I don't think this is possible with interior elevations - although I may learn otherwise. I would use an elevation tag which you can set as a linked marker and link to your details.

Pretty time consuming... but you could "cut" the drawing from the detail view and "paste" it into the IE view.

You'll end up with a "2D drawing" along side a "live" 3D model.

When the 3D model is updated, use trace reference to manually edit the 2D drawing.

Each detail view in your layouts would need to be re-linked to the IE's (use "Link drawing to....").
