Hi,
Are the new Keynotes unfinished, or am I using them incorrectly?
I assumed the workflow was to create styled Labels and assign them to Keynote categories, so each category could display differently in the floor plan. I created multiple label styles with different shapes, saved them as Favorites, and assigned them per Keynote category. It seems to work at first, but when I change a style, it does not stay linked to that category. I have to reapply it each time, per each category and asign again...and again.
Is this expected behavior? If so, what is the intended workflow to maintain consistent styles per Keynote category without constantly reassigning label styles?
And if it is not how keynotes suppose to work, and show differently per category on floor plan/elevations.. then i am even more confused.

Hi @cocoloco
In Archicad, Favorites allow you to save the settings of elements so you can create them easily without having to modify those settings each time. However, there is no direct link between the created element and the favorite used to create it; therefore, if a change is made to the favorite, the properties of the created element will not change automatically. Instead, you will need to reselect the element and apply the new favorite to it.
There are tools like Find & Select to locate elements that share certain common properties; once selected, you can then apply the desired favorite to them.
