Hello everyone,
I've created a label with simple Autotext for measuring windows (#RevealDimensions).
When placed on the windows in Map View, it works perfectly, but when I place this view on a Layout the label only shows "#RevealDimensions". It seems as if in Layout it reads the label as text, and not as a label. What should I do to fix this?
Thank you very much
Operating system used: Mac Intel-based 11.7 Big Sur

There is no window object in the layout for the label to associate to.
Label in the model view as you have done and then place the view on the layout as a drawing and it will already be labelled.

Hey Barry,
Thanks for the reply. That is exactly what I had done and why I can't understand where is the problem. I am attaching two images: Model View and then same drawing placed on a layout. Any other ideas?

I am not sure.
It is working for me.
What version of Archicad are you using?
You show your OS is Big Sur.
I know very little about Macs, but that is about 5 years old?
I am wondering if there is an incompatibility with Archicad and your OS.

I am using Archicad 25. I had created a new Label from scratch using Autotext, and that wouldn't work in the Layout.
I decided to just use the already existing "Text/Autotext" label instead and insert there the Autotext I wanted (#RevealDimensions). This alternative worked!
Like this I managed to solve the problem. Thank you for the help!

I thought you had used an autotext label, and that is what I tried.
If you want to share your label object, I could have a look at it and see if I can spot the problem.
Barry.
