Why can't I use current change ID when using autotext

I want to label my published drawings like this:

<PROJECTNUMBER> <SourceID> <CHANGEID> <SourceItemName>

so

001 0001 A Site Plan

All the autotext works except my change id which just remains as the raw text. Why is this not an autotext option?

Operating system used: Windows

Change ID is intended to identify a change, at the element/view level, furthermore a single layout may have multiple changes with different change IDs. What you likely want is Revision ID or Transmittal Set ID.

See: Available Autotexts
