Level Dimensioning Tool Not updating on Gravity Roofs (AC16)

Anonymous
Not applicable
I use Roofs for my Sloped Garage Slabs and often place the Level Dimension spots on the slab in certain locations using the Gravity to Roof option. The Dim. spots are getting placed properly, but if the spot is moved along the slab (to a lower or higher elevation) the dimension is not updating as it had in the past. I can not figure what has changed.

They are not set to Static are they? Check their settings and let us know.

Cheers,

A few things to check (I tested on AC17):
1. Do the Renovation status of the Roof and Marker match? I couldn't get an Existing Marker to link to a New Roof.
2. When the Marker is selected, the associated Roof should highlight, if not, then the Marker is not associated to the Roof.

Link - yes it was the Static Level setting. The Elevation marker settings came from my Favorites (which were imported from previous AC versions). In the past maybe it was AC10 I do not remember the Favorite having the "Static level" checked by default. That was it.

David - It would seem at least in AC16 that the Revovation status has not effect on the function and the linking. It works regardless of the whether they have the same status.

Jay:

I just tested in AC16 and you are correct, the Roof and Marker's Reno status do not need to match.
