I would be interested to know roughly how many MVOs do you have in your projects?
I'm not looking for definitive answers as to how you are using them, just the number that you have in regular use.
I have 10 in my template which I use for one off houses.

can i ask what the use of zone stamps are these days, now that you can tag them with labels?
are there things that the labels have difficulty in calling up in zones?

We find with the labels we would have to create multiple additional layers for all the different information we want to pull off for each different type of drawing. With the Zone Stamp linked to MVO's we can use a single Zone on a single layer and utilise the MVO to control the content of the stamp.

We currently have 18, broken out to follow suit with our Layer combinations & Graphic Override combinations.
It allows us some flexibility if someone needs to tweak something for a various reason, that we don't have those adjustments everywhere.
An example view would be set up with these settings
Layer Combination: 08 - Door & Window Plan
Model View Option: 08 - MVO - Doors & Windows
GO Combination: 08 - Door & Window Plan
I'm finding it to be helpful when Someone requests help due to issues, its easy to glance at the bottom of the screen and see if these settings are relatively accurate.

Mine need review and work as well (several are carry-overs from older templates). With that, I have:
(5) for modeling
(2) for 2D3D existing conditions plan docs
(2) for FMP (planning) docs
(4) for pre-design, schematics docs
(17) for DD/CDs, mainly around major doc types &/or scale

I am following this post to see what else I can learn with the application of MVO’s to improve the quality of my drawings. I am always looking for short cuts too.
Thank you for creating this post.

The aim was to simply gather some numbers to support a point I am making to GS. It is good to know it is helping in other ways.

I am looking forward to your wish list in this respect.
The localised version of Archicad need to be tailored to the conventions of our particular location or region in the world when it comes to MVO’s, attributes and complex dialogue boxes. If they can do that, then they can simplify the process.
Archicad is global as you all know and so they cater to all sorts of needs and standards. That’s why it gets messy and complicated unfortunately. Or you need a great deal of experience just to know where everything is in order to change simple minor things.
I think they could start with having windows and doors on separate layers instead of just being with the wall assembly that they are part of.
Have fun !
