In auto cad there is a way to copy an item numerous times (not an array). Is there a way to do this in ArchiCad. I now use the drag a copy but if I want to create several copies moving around the window I do not know a way to do that. I only know the control u command that does multiple copies at equal spacing.

After you star to drag something, press (and release) the option/alt key. The drag now becomes drag a copy.
If you also press the command(apple)/control key while holding the option/alt key down, it becomes drag multiple copies.
You can then click all over placing copies until you hit esc/cancel to end the process.
