Multiple layout books in AC15

Our firm is converting from AC9 to AC15. We have a lot of projects where we had 1 PLN and 4 different LBK files. (1 for each individual building in a 4-lot development. This utilized the same details but different floor plans.) Now we've converted to AC15, I'd like to know if there is a way to have multiple layout books within the single pln file. I tried to search the forum and couldn't find anything. My local dealer doesn't know it either. He suggested using subsets, but they're not the same as different books (total sheet count would be for all sheets in the 4 subsets, instead of just the one building, etc.)

I'd really appreciate any pointers to a solution or a workaround!

There is only one layout book per project file. You can either use subsets or you can create separate project files to contain the different layout books.

The new arrangement just means that there is now a single file type which can contain either a building model, a layout book or both. Another advantage is that you can now link the files in a variety of ways that you could not before. For example you could create a common detail set that is referenced by multiple project files or reference multiple layout books into one grand master publisher set.

There is a lot more to this than I can describe here. I hope this helps get you started.

Of course, it would be nice to have autotext for the number of sheets in a subset though.
