we need to indicate that "end" line condition to distinguish when "new" meets "existing".
I cannot change the justification of the wall planes either...they MUST have the same reference line (the framing skin).

where do I access what you are suggesting?

Hi Rob.
Are you using renovation filters to set up your model view? If you are, it is as simple as using the "Do not intersect" in the additional filter options for your new elements.
Hope that helps.
Best regards.

I do WANT the new walls (new elements) to indeed intersect but only with each other "NEW" elements, not with the "existing" elements.
if I switch that toggle?..........wont then ALL the new elements not intersect with each new elements? that's not what I'm looking for....I'm looking to simply have a "line" separate new from existing but have ALL existing intersect correctly within itself and have all NEW intersect and cleanup correctly amongst themselves...

Try it to see if it is what you are looking for. If it's not, just change it back. No harm done.

Wow, I did not know about that option. Such a easy solution.
Sorry for all my "bad" recommendations.
I learned something new today.

I believe you are ahead of the curve on that one.
But yes, it appears you can have the renovation filter make "NEW" and "EXISTING" not clean up while all the while have walls that "ARE" indeed within their own renovation phasing clean up with each other..............thanks all.
