Number of Section Elevation and Detail Markers (Total Number of Viewpoints)

I’m trying to find out whether it is possible to check the number of Viewpoints in an Archicad file.

Reducing unnecessary Section Markers by combining and staggering them can significantly improve model efficiency, rather than creating hundreds of markers to document small portions of a building. However, there doesn't appear to be a diagnostic tool that shows the total number of Section, Elevation, and Detail Markers within a project.

It could be useful to display a summary count next to each Viewpoint type in the Project Map. This would help users monitor the number of Section, Elevation, and Detail Viewpoints being created and identify when excessive numbers may be affecting model performance or project management.

You can find out the number of Viewpoints by type by using Claude with the Archicad Tapir MCP Server. Here is the conversation I had with Claude:

Then I asked it about the number of Section Markers:

Nice one! I’ve successfully set up the connection and am already putting it to use on some more practical applications. Thanks for the insight!
