Plot sheets going crazy

We’re having a problem with plot sheets showing items (dimensions) incorrectly. I mean you can draw a dimension to a window in the drawing but then when you go to the sheet the dimension is somewhere else in the drawing. It seems to be happening to elevations, mainly interior elevations. The only way I’ve found to fix it is to turn the drawing from an Auto Rebuild Model into a Drawing.

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, it happens to me too. The workaround I have found, if you open the source view of the drawing it will update. Then set your drawing to manual update. What version are you using?

Yeah I've tried that too and it works, but when you go back into the drawing and draw a dimension then go back to the sheet the dimension isn't there.

That is why it is called "Manual Update" right click the drawing in the layout and click on Update or use the drawing manager to update all the views.

In the Defined View?
__

Try relinking the drawing to the View by right clicking on the drawing and selecting "Link Drawing to"

well it worked for one drawing on the plot sheet the others still aren't working, even tried deleting the drawing off of the plot sheet and dragging it back on there....a dimension still isn't showing up.

Options to try…

Try using regular Elevations as a test to see if it is not a Bug in the Interior Elevation Tool.

Or create a New Interior Elevation to see if it happens with IEs created by another team member.

I would also check permissions between team members to see if there is a hidden conflict.
