I know there are a lot of fans of the one-layout-per-sheet method. I've always worked with about 20 sheets to a layout. That method has its benefits and its aggravations.
I want to test out the one-to-one method, but it appears that my config (Mac OSX, and I print to Postscript file) will keep this from happening.
The main thing is that a Batch Print...thing...(is it a document or an application???) produces a series of postscript files for each layout. The bummer is that they seem to all have the same name - no options for overwrite avoidance. Also, I can't get the Batch thing to hold onto a Page Setup config. I'll set it to 24x36, then print to a file. When I distill the resulting Postscript file, I get an 8.5x11 document. When I check the page setup, I find that Plotmaker has reverted back to a default page setup.
Does anyone use this tool to print to a file?
Thanks.
