Resizing the Text Editor Window

How is the size of the text editor window controlled? I routinely use it, but today, when I clicked onto an existing text box, the editor box opened, filling the screen with it's window, magnifying my 8 pt text to about 6" high. Any ideas?

It's usually controlled by how far you are zoomed in. If the edited text is appearing too big, try scrolling out and re-editing it.
