Is there a way to set the ROOF PLAN cut plane different from the rest of the stories so I can SEE the whole Roof without "CUTS" ?

You can set a different cut plane for any plan view in the view map.

@ Vistasp,

Where in the project map?
I see where to set a different height for each individual story , but not height of CUT for each individual story. Am I missing something in here? Tks.

I'd personally set the roof to outlines only too. This is done under the floor plan display settings of the roof settings. Similarly, I'd set all walls, etc to symbolic cut. With these settings, the floor plan cut plane does not even come into play.

But if you happen to need the FPCP for any reason then you edit your view settings to adjust it on a per view basis. You can do that via the navigator or organizer whilst in the view map.

Cheers,
Link.

Since it was introduced, i've found using the 3D Document function very handy, especially for roof plans.
Set layer combinations as required to see all elements, open 3d window, set to parallel projections plan view, right-click and select 'capture window for 3D document' from the menu.

Francisco,

The project map is no use for this. As Link has reiterated, it's the view map where you can save individual settings for views. And if you don't need to show the roof fill then the outline method mentioned earlier is simpler.
