Hi Meggz,

If you open the View, can you see the storey levels? If not, check you have the correct boxes ticked in the elevation settings which control what parts of the storey level markers & lines display on screen. (See image below)

If you can see them, remember they appear on the very edge of the area that the elevation crops, so perhaps they are being cropped off the side in the layout? Stretch the views border in the layout to see if they become visible.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Peter,

It may have been what you said regarding the level line check boxes not being selected in the elevation settings, I unfortunately can't remember now. What I ended up doing was matching properties from another file where I knew the elevations were displaying as desired. To comment on your second point, this was in fact occuring within the view... Strange I know... I did however follow your suggestion and go back to double check the extent of the cropped dwg on the layout, everything appears to be kosher there.

Thanks again!

I just wanted to chime in here to let you know I have some BUGGY behavior going on...

In a TW2 environment (AC14) seems like every time the other half of the team gets the file, all the carefully placed STORY LEVELS dissappear... This involves 7 or 8 elevations and 20 or so sections.

1. Go to Layout to see that the STORY MARKERS have disappeared.
2. Open Source View to find them missing as well.
3. Open SETTINGS to see that they are all set to D + O
4. Hitting CANCEL or OK makes them show up again in the Section Window
5. Going back to the Layout, they are still missing even though the sections are set to AUTO UPDATE...
6. Manual Update brings them back to the layout.
7. This means I have to open up 30 or so SOURCE VIEWS and UPDATE them each time I get the file back...

Anyone else?

I have found no other way to make them re-appear....
Duane
