Three story house, when doors and windows are placed on lower level they dont show up on the floor

Hi,  I am working on a three story house. The lowest level is -9', the next floor is at 0and the top (third) floor is 12'. When I place doors in the walls at the lower level they dont show up in the floor plan. My walls are not linked.

you are modeling as a platform frame, or it is 1 wall running up all 3 stories?
make sure the walls are set to symbolic cut, and the doors are set to lower level as home story.
