Total surface by apartment on plans

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello,

I'm modelling a building with multiple appartements and I would like to add in a plan the sum of all surfaces:

Appartement A - 130 m2
Appartement B - 127 m2

etc...

Is there an object or something that can add the surfaces and present them on a plan?

Thanks kindly

I don't know in which AC version you are working on, but in the Austrian one there is a library object called the "Top Stempel" that calculates all the Zones belonging to one apartement and does the sum. The user must identify the zones which belong to one groud, in order for the Top Stempel to be able to do the calculation.

I am not familiar that the international version or any other (expect the German) have such an object. I think Graphisoft was planing such a tool for the US version also.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I have archicad french and I don't seem to have that function (Also I don't use it a lot so it's possible that it is somewhere else and I just can't find it ...). Is it an object that you can share?

Kind regards

I have never tried to export this element since it comes with the standard Archicad libraries. I will give it a try.

Your best option would be to start an empty file, place the object, then save as an archive embedding all placed objects. This should also isolate any of the called macros if there are any.

So I have created a *.pla file with the Stamp. I hope you can extract the information from it.

One thing not that I realised is that this stamp is hardcoded, meaning you cannot change the names for Wohnräume and Nebenräume.
If you really want it, place a text block above it with a white background to hide the german description

It is an AC22 file...
Since the archive file is 99mb i had to upload it via Wetransfer...

Thank you for the upload.

Unfortunately it doesn't work. I get a missing library error. Is there any other way to copy the object?
About the translation, i could dive into de GDL and change te text.

Also, I think the object is linked to a plugin. I searched online and I saw that there is a menu under documentation to place the topstempel that I don't have in my archicad (french).

Kind regards,

I see your screenshot is either in AC19 or lower. Did you try it in a newer version? This TopStempel has a different functionality since AC20. I exported this file from AC22.

I will have to look into the possibilities of exporting a single *.gsm object from the main AC22 library. Never did that, but hints are welcomed

You will need to embed the object into the project, then back save it to 21, then from there to 19. If you just save it as a .gsm, I am pretty sure it will save it as a AC22 object, similar to when editing or creating an object in AC22, which cannot be opened by earlier versions.
