Hi, our office just got ourselves a new plotter, a HP DesignJet 500 42" And to my surprise Plotmaker/ArchiCAD only supports HPGL plotting? The plotter plots fine from AutoCAD, but from ArchiCAD we now actually have to print the plots.
This is rather ennoying because the lack of settings in the printer-driver, we have different roll sizes etc. and it is mutch harder to controll than the plotter-driver you guys made. Is there planned to be an update in the way Plotmaker transfers files to plotters soon, or is there a solutions to this?
And no, I wont put a HPGL ard in the plotter, it makes the plotting that much slower.

Maybe you could read the Read Me for Plotter Users.htm that is located in the ArchiCAD 10\PlotWare folder.
