Window sill and wall cut lines - superposition

Zendrix

Hi!

I have some windows with sills and what is happening is that the sill is getting on top of the Cut line of the walls, "eating away" some of the thickness of the cut line thickness/expression.

Once the window has no "send backward" option because it is part of the wall element, what am i doing wrong?

Thanks,

Z

You are doing nothing wrong and no, you can't control the display order.

But 2 things I will mention.

It looks bad on screen because you can zoom in and really notice the problem.

Is it still so noticeable when you print the plans?

And maybe don't use such a thick line for the plaster skin.

Use a thinner line and a 50% hatch fill for the plaster to make it stand out.

Or add a thin skin on the outside of the plaster that can be a solid black fill.

Very thick lines in Archicad can be a problem because they are centred on the reference line and can not be offset.

Thanks Barry,

Here in the office we like using the thicker lines as an outline cut, but its something i see is pretty hard to control in AC (for someone who comes from Autocad xP ).

Thank you for the advices.
