License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Window with 2 panels of different material

Hi
I am trying to create a vertical window, where the lower part is fixed and the upper part is openable.
I need the lower part to be a different material, in this case an opaque glass or panel. But in the window menu I don't find the possibility.
Is there any way to do it? Thank you very much.

If you are on ArchiCAD 18, Vertical Multi-Sash Window can give you the lower part fixed and the upper part openable. However, I don't think you can individualise the glass material. One for the wishlist?

If you add your OS and ArchiCAD version to your signature, you will get more accurate help on this forum.

Cheers.

Thank you for your tip. My problem is indeed the material, I have already a window with two panels.
I'd definitively add it to the wishlist.

PS: signature updated 😉

You should be able to achieve what you want with the Modular Joinery Object. It is available from BIMcomponents for users on SSA.

You were right, I was using a different window object from another library.
Perfect, Thanks!
