are your files becoming huge when you use the layout book?

anyone know why the file size grows enormously whenever one uses the laybook book? is this even normal? i've noticed mine enormously. any way around this??

The Layout caches all the content of the viewports. This can often double or triple your file size. You can turn this off, but then you would have to wait for every viewport to rebuild every time you viewed a sheet.

The larger file size is the lesser of two evils.

"Viewport" is AutoCAD terminology. Viewpoint or View.
