deleting dimensions

Hello.
I am trying to delete a level dimension, but all I can is select its text. I tried selecting it by using a marquee but that did not work either. Any ideas?
Thank you.

Use the arrow tool.
Is "quick selection" turned on? If so try with it off (space bar).

It's sometimes easier to find the node… if you zoom out a bit.

Or with the arrow tool… drag a rectangle over the object.

The marquee would work if you drag around the dimension, activate the Level Dimension tool, and then "select all Level Dim's in Marquee" … command A on a mac.

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately, the issue is not solved. I trid the arrow tool and pressed spacebar several times. When I use the marquee abd CTRL plus A with level dim selected, nothing is selected.

What happens if you "select all level Dim's" with out using the marquee?

That is to say, turn the level dim tool on. Then "select all".

In that case that precise level dim is not selected.

Maybe the text has been moved far from the"node" of the Dim.
(Like… outside of the marquee area).

Try it with no marque, tool selected, select all…. then, with all of the Level Dim.s selected, change the mark to something you can see, like the crosshairs.
Can you find it now?

Thank you for all the support. I found the issue. The reason why I could not delete it is because I did not select it all with origin point as well. The origin point had been moved, I don't know how. So when I was selecting all level dim, this dim was selected as well, but since I could not see the origin point nearby, I thought it was not selected.
