1. level dimensions are showing as 0.00 for all my contour points. i've set z height to 1'-0 and sections shows contours slope of 1'-0".
2. i've used sea level and the mesh plane is set to 122.76' from sea level so the section is fairly thick. how do i adjust the view so the 3d is now showing the thick earth?

I use the gravity button in the co-ordinates palette - but it depends on your work environment settings as to where you might have it.

You can change to any of these at any time in the mesh tool settings.
