dwg's on worksheets go missing

Hi,
Quite often placed dwg's (as drawings on worksheets) go missing on the layout. I can select the drawing object containing the placed drawing but all I end up with is an empty frame... This happens quite often.
AC13...

Anyone else with similar experiences? Or better...solutions?
