layer visibility and zone unit reset

Hi guys,

So I've been having a problem in ArchiCAD 17 where settings will reset when I switch between Worksheets, Layout sheets and drawing sheets.
For example, when I change the visibility of Xref Layers in a worksheet, if I switch to a layout they turn off again. Similarly if I change the decimals displayed in a zone area calculation from 3 places to zero, when I change to worksheet view it resets to showing 3 places.

My colleague has the same Work Environment Profile and User Preference scheme as myself and doesn't have the same issue.

Any idea what could be causing these and if they're related?

It may be others issues, but first.
Are you using the Project Map or View Map i.e.(saved settings)?

Thanks for you reply, I'm working through my plans on view map. I've just fixed the decimal zone problem by updating the box in the settings 2D/3D Documents dimensions now but my trace Xref worksheets (made in project map) are still behaving odd
