make snap faster

Anonymous
Not applicable
Gday everyone

just wondering If there is a way to make snap points snap faster as I use my chin for a mouse and it is difficult holding the cursor still waiting for the circle snap point to show.
I can do it but it takes me up to 5 minutes to get one snap point and it gets frustrating especially when doing dimensions.

any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the Forum Shane!
You may want to add your version of Archicad
and OS platform to your "signature" for future
inquires (features change).

It is a tough one to fine tune.
To small a time limit and you will get snap guides all over the place, too long a time limit and you will have to wait all the time.

There is also a keyboard shortcut to instantly place the snap guide regardless of the time setting.
It should be the Q or ' (tild) key - possibly both will work.
Move the mouse to the edge or node and then press the shortcut.
