missing font in PDF.. one page only

Hello

From PlotMaker 9, I create 3 pdf sheets. When I review the pages w/ Acrobat 6, page 1 and page 3 are perfect, but when I view Page 2 it gives me the error "cannot find font - subsitute helvetica.." (and yes, I used the same font universally throughout the project)

This then garbles my text..

I checked Distiller to make sure my font is loaded/ located.

I deleted and re-imported/ created my Page 2 again, with no luck.

Additionally, when I plot/ Pdf the pages last week, everything was fine.


Any help would be great

I guess you are using Amyuni PDF driver.
I once had a case where certain pages in the PDF had no text at all. It was at 600 dpi.
I set resolution of the resulting PDF file to 300 dpi in PlotMaker, and less texts were missing.
Then I set it to 150 dpi, and all text was there. But at 150 dpi, their quality was not really nice. I did it anyway because I had no other choice at the time.

but I believe that was an Amyuni problem.

If you install the "Adobe Acrobat professional" you will also install the virtual printer "Adobe PDF" which is much better than "Amyuni PDF driver"

If you are using Amyuni, in page setting select "Font embedding" if you are using Adobe PDF go to Adobe PDF options and uncheck "do not embed fonts"
