I feel really stupid that I can't figure this out:
existing wall, new window. demo plan shows existing wall solid, and portion with new doors/windows as dashed (demo this area). I want to show it dashed in elevation as well, but the new window is hidden, no matter the combination of show/hide/override, and attribute overrides in the renovation status.
there has to be a way to show new windows/doors dashed in an existing/demo elevation, or am I just spacing out and this has never been a thing?

mystery (sort of) solved! if a new door/window occupies (even in part) the opening of a demo door/window in an existing wall, the new opening in the wall will not show, even where it is not completely contained within the demo opening. Using find & select, I was able to locate the new doors on the existing walls with renovation status set to (E) show/ (D) override/ (N) hide. But the new febnestrations only show on the elevation in instances where they are completely separate (no overlap) from the demo fenestrations.
