I've run into this occasionally. The solution I've found is in Acrobat Reader:
1. Select
Print..., the Print dialog box opens
2. Click on the
Advanced button (middle top of the dialog box)
3. Check the option
Print As Image
I've mainly run into this when rotating a sheet to print on my HP T120 large format printer.
You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
