publishing part views to pdf

Hi,

Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to publish a part view of a plan to pdf. I notice in Publisher that there is an option 'crop image to zoom' which I incorrectly took to mean that the zoomed view on screen would be what was published. Apologies in advance if this topic has already been covered.

Your confusion is understandable, but you need to use this feature in conjunction with a view that has a zoomed area.

So save a view, with Current Zoom selected ( at the desired zoom) when you save it. Then publish that view with 'Crop image to Zoom' checked. Alternatively you could place the view as a drawing on a layout and manually crop the edges of the drawing using the pet palette.
