trouble with dimensions and complex profile walls

I finally started to play with complex profile walls in AC10 since now 11 will be able to handle curved ones, but I am running into a number of problems.

First while I am able to get my walls dimensioned however I want when I first create my dim. stringline, they disappear when I move a wall (see pics') Also once the dimension line is place, I cannot add to it unless the point I want is the reference line of the wall or one of the outside edges (typically finishes which I never dimension to ) . This of course relates to my other problem with complex profiles, I am only getting the mercedes symbol over the reference line and outside edges, not over the various skins, is there some trip to being able to snap to whatever skin I want?

Finally, can anyone tell me if in AC11 they fixed the problem of complex walls returning to the default height if you change profiles. That is really an annoying "feature"

I'm not sure about your dimensioning problem.
But I have been told that the height "feature" has been resolved in V11.
I like you have been avoiding the complex profiled walls because of this problem.
Just waiting for V11 to arrive to check it out for sure.
