Controlling Cut Surface Materials in SEOs

When using Solid Element Operations, Morphs and Meshes keep their original top surface material. However, object elements always show the cut surface using the Symbol Line Pen color.

My workflow: I place a road-line object and use SEOs to align it with the site, so it continues to follow site elevation changes. But because the object cut surface takes the Symbol Line Pen color, I have to do an extra manual step to fix the appearance.

I suspected it might be related to the GDL primitive used to create the object, so I tested BLOCK, PRISM, and MESH, but the result is the same.

If anyone knows any way to control or override the top cut-surface material for objects (any tip or workaround is welcome), I would really appreciate it.

The cut surface uses the objects Surface Override regardless if it is toggle on or not.
