Symb_mirrored for Slabs?

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a ceiling label that also has a line to it, but I found that in mirrored states it will behave badly - most common scenario is the label sits in a hotlink that gets mirrored. It managed to fix the text & everything for rotation using label_rotangle + view_rotangle, but mirroring is still buggy.

At first I thought that using symb_mirrored might help but id doesn't work for slabs. Any ideas how I can go about it? The slabs don't have a mirrored state parameter & neither do the labels....
