Tooltips not working when Learning content is on

I have been looking at all the new buttons controlling the door and window representations in the Model View Options, and I had trouble understanding what each button did, because the tooltip wasn't coming up. I thought it was a problem wit hthe MVO, but then I went around the usual places in Archciad where I would have tooltips, and they weren't coming up there either.

I checked the help menu to see if they were on (and they were), but they were still not coming up.

Then I saw that at the same place, there is a toggle to turn off the Learning content pop ups as well, and once I turned that off, the tootips came back!

So, it seems like tootlips don't work when Learning contents are on?

Same problem here, I noticed that all the tooltips are gone for no reason - luckily turning off Learning content fixed the bug as you mentioned!

What is shown in the tool tip is also the first line of the learning content tip.

But I find the learning content tip does not always show.

I sometimes have to move away and go back to get it to appear.

I haven't be able to replicate consistently because once it shows then it seems to always work.

Some don't have learning content like 'guides' and 'grids', but they do have tool tips and these don't show if learning content is on.

Also some unavailable (greyed out) tools show learning content, such as drag and rotate when nothing is selected on screen.

But redo does not show anything for me - but on rare occasions it will - there is no consistency with that one.

But it will show a tool tip if learning content is off.

Also the 'Home' button has no learning content but does have a tool tip.

And some of the learning tips don't match the tool as mentioned in other posts.

It is all a bit buggy at the moment.

Makes you wonder if those at Graphisoft developing this are seeing the same things?

I noticed the learning content being inconsistent since beta. But back then I didn't notice that "normal" tooltips (for things that don't have any learning content, like inside a GDL object for example) also disappear - which is a function lost. For advanced users I don't think they will need the new learning contents, whereas tooltips provide crucial information, like module placement in hotlink module manager which doesn't display anywhere else.

I wonder if it could ever be a 'timed' thing.

Hover over the tool and you see just the original tool tip.

After 2 seconds (or a time limit you can set in the work environment) you see the learning tip.

The learning tip kind of does this now, it will show the tool tip first and then expand to the full learning tip, but it seems quite quick and i don't see anywhere that this time can be set.

Nope, unfortunately 😞 I tried multiple times. With learning content turned on:

Nothing appears when I hover over this, even if I leave my cursor there for more than 10s. However, with learning content turned off:

this appears right away

Hopefully they can fix this before it officially rolls out.

I was just looking in the main Archicad window, not in actual dialogue windows.

Seems they may not have set up tool tips for every where that thee is a tool tip.

That will be a problem.

That is where it might be good if it can just show the actual tool tip first and then after a time switch to the learning tips.

Rather than when you activate the learning tips, that is all it shows you.

Because then if there is no learning tip, you see nothing.
