28 Silicon not downloading fully/damaged download can’t open

I downloaded 28 last week and was having an issue with DWG not being able to be opened or save-as by Archicad. Opted to DELETE 28 and re-downloaded the DMG. Now the when trying to open the installer DMG it keeps popping up with “Archicad.dmg is damaged and can’t be open” error so no more 28 for now, back to 27…. Tried downloading from both Safari and DuckDuckGo browsers.

Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon Sequoia 5.1

The last answer from user was about downloading the Goodies Add-On Installer's dmg.
We only wanted to check, whether any of downloaded dmg could mount.

It was successful.

The original error was:

The user downloaded the AC 28 USA dmg, but it could not mount, because the Mac OS wrote, it was damaged.

But we tried on other computers, it is not damaged.

So, we try to figure out, why the user cannot open (mount) the downloaded dmg.

Could the issue be with Macbook? I tried installing Archicad 23 and i get the same damaged error message

It is sure according what we tried, your computer has some specific problem.

I would say, it would be good to reinstall the Mac OS, but I know, it is not too comfortable step.

Did you try the offers in the list what I wrote today?
For example trying to mount from terminal?

Haven't tried all of the them, will try this evening and revert back

Tried with no luck, will try reinstalling the OS again.

Have now installed on windows so i can do some work

It seems to me that you could download the installation file OK - the original poster could not even do this.

You must have been able to as you are running the installer.

It is trying to find Archicad in a default installation folder path.

It seems to me that maybe your Archicad is installed somewhere else - not in the default folder?

Check that you are installing the update to where Archicad is actually installed.
