You can't delete the embedded library.
However you can delete the contents of the embedded library.

Did it crash as soon as you hit the delete button or only when you re-loaded the library?
If the later then maybe it was something vital to the model (I have no idea what it could be).

The file won't have saved, so re-open it and delete just a few items at a time to see if you can work out what it is.
Or open the BPN (backup) file and try that.

Did the bug report appear?
If so send it off and then follow up with your local support centre with the bug number and ask them what the problem was.

Hi maro,

Thank you for sharing the issue and I am sorry about the crash!

Could you share a bit more information about how the crash happens? As Barry suggested, you cannot delete the Embedded Library, therefore, can you share the steps to reproduce the crash?

And could you share the Bug ID number for a closer look?

Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Minh

Hi,

I have checked the crash. Unfortunately, this is not linked to a known defect.

From the crash, I can see that the last event before crashing was opening the Library Manager on a blank template file. I'm wondering if you could help me with describing exactly the step to reproduce the crash? That would be a great help in order to investigate further!

Thank you very much for your information!

Best regards,
Minh

Hi Minh,
- create new project using AC3 Tempalte.tpl
- create some own library part /or import skp, or embeded some loaded library/
- go on Library Manager
- delet Library item
- click ok
- AC crash

Hi maro,

Thank you for your description!

Unfortunately, after importing lots of complex SKP objects to the Embedded Library, also creating some custom ones, deleting them in the Library Manager did not make ARCHICAD crash for me.

I am wondering if you could create a PLN/PLA where you will experience crash just by opening that file then go to Library Manager, delete the custom library part from Embedded Library? Let me know if you'll need a link to securely forward the file to us for investigation!

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards,
Minh
