there are a number of UI bugs that have shown up since our office upgraded to MacOS 15.2. these issues are present on multiple machines, both intel based and apple silicon.
1) buttons in toolbars, palettes, and the info box that are for dropdowns are missing the dropdown arrows.
2) font selection dropdowns all show black rectangles for all fonts
see the screenshots attached.
Operating system used: Mac Intel-based 15.2 Sequoia

Sequoia is very finicky with permissions. Make sure you have Archicad checked in Settings - Privacy & Security - Local Network. Even if it is, go for the old Uncheck close then Check again trick. Here's to this solving it 🙂

Hi Mark,
That's great. we have updated all our macs and that has fixed the UI issues. however after upgrading, one of our macs now cant connect to the bimserver. That machine can definitely see the bimserver on the network, and happily log into it via a web browser, but archicad just reports a rather unhelpful "unknown error". the only thing that changed here was the archicad upgrade from 27.2.1 to 27.3.1
This is on an arm based mac studio running MacOS 15.2. very random - all the other machines in the office that were upgraded from 27.2.1 to 27.3.1 have had no issues.
Any clues here? we will try uninstalling and reinstalling archicad and see if that helps.
UPDATE: reinstalling archicad did not help. machine is connected via ethernet. wifi is turned off. hostname matches computer name. dnscache flushed.
so strange, as the computer can absolutely see the bimserver, and can connect to the address and port via a web browser. just not with archicad.

Thank you *so* much. that is exactly what it was. So strange that it was only disabled on this machine. That tip should get posted to a sticky topic on bimserver connection troubleshooting...
