ARCHICAD 17 ERROR

I was trying to render something and Archicad 17 crashed. I opened it back up did a save as and thought everything was fine. Since then Archicad 17 throws the error "Cannot create temporary files" and then closes. How can I fix this. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it does not fix the problem.

If a reinstallation did not resolve the problem, then perhaps Preference Cleaning will help:

If you've customized your work environment, you might export it first so that you can import it again without having to set it up again.
