Many users find it challenging to navigate through schedules, revision logs, and legend tables. For smaller projects, it would be much more efficient to have the option to input this information manually. Adding a basic text table feature would greatly improve usability and flexibility. Thank you for considering this enhancement.

Hi @User313
It is a wish I also have.
In the meantime, there are few solutions, sadly none of them perfect:
You can copy and paste a selected range of cells from an Excel sheet and choose wether you want to import the text as editable RTF or as a non-editable but pretty image. 😊
In a Worksheet you can create your own "table" in Archicad cell by cell using text with a border line and group them all. It is easy to edit but not the ideal way, I know.
Kind regards.

I think the best solution would be to allow schedules (or lists) with empty rows/columns. This would enable a completely manual table, and also greatly enhance regular schedules by allowing custom text to be interwoven with project data. And if the blank cells also supported auto-text and calculations it would open up even more great workflows.
If you register this as a wish I will vote for it.

Hi,
Like many other users, I don't use the Change and Review tool, so I had to find a system.
The solution I devised and adopted (since AC19) consists of creating new Layout information so that it can then be used as automatic text.
You can then create a table on a worksheet to place it on the layouts.
This was my first "simple" solution!
I then improved it by creating an object that requires creating a "dummy" change to display the table in the layout, but which automatically adapts according to the number of changes.
Here is a video presentation of the object in French (end of 2019).
I've attached the object (in French, but you can easily translate it) and the layout information that works with it and must be imported.
