Hi Graphisoft,
I tried today ArchiCAD 29 CHE (Swiss edition) for the first tests.
Negative 2; AI tools with USB Dongle licence is not to use 😞
Negative 2; the performance is slow, like the older version AC 26, 27, 28 😞
BUG
I tried to make an object, saved it. Wanted to open > empty field on the screen, always in the foreground.
> I had do close ArchiCAD and reopen the program..... 😞
> macOS Apple M2 Max, 64 GB RAM / Sequoia 15.5

There is additional discussion of the blank menu bug here:

I have been able to recreate the problem, on macOS. When it happens, I am using the Command+Tab key combination to go toggle between different applications. If this is done in quick succession and I happen to be hovering over the pull-down menus, the blank window appears and gets stuck. It's only one pull-down menu, no others get stuck at the same time, and it is not always the same menu.
I have included a screenshot of my list of open apps and the first four are the ones I was randomly toggling between to recreate the issue. Not sure that it is specific to any one app. FWIW, I am using three screens, my MacBook Pro and two externals. AC is on one of the externals. I do regularly have two AC files open (AC26 and AC28) but have not tried to recreate with only one running.

Thanks for those details @ksjhawk. I will test your command-tab hypothesis. I also have an external monitor which I use along side my MacBook Pro's built-in screen. Looking back I believe all my failures occurred on the external monitor but cannot say that with 100% certainty. I also suspect that having another instance of Archicad running may also be a common characteristic, although in my case that would be AC27+AC28 or AC28+AC29.
I have seen multiple blank menus on at least on occasion.
Hopefully there is enough corroborating evidence for Graphisoft to take this bug seriously.

I have a second monitor hooed up to my laptop as well. I seem to trigger the ghost dialog when I ham-handedly click on something in the menu twice: the first click doesn't hit the target and the second triggers the ghost.
