ArchiStair and the needed Registration ID...

Dear ArchiStair users,

in order to avoid any trouble let me post this very important suggestion:

1. you can get ArchiStair only asking for its “DVD-box” (I mean it will never be downloadable from the web)
2. to use ArchiStair you MUST serialize it. Without unlock code you can use it only as demo version but the Demo mode don’t let you create/edit/handle the stair: you will only able to browse the ArchiStair dialog window
3. to serialize ArchiStair (just like the other Cigraph add-ons) you need you Registration ID: without your personal Registration ID you CANNOT get the unlock code
4. PLEASE, PAY ATTENTION: the Registration ID is on a sticker on the outside of the shrink-wrap on the package.
5. Ion order to avoid any trouble, please, conserve this Registration ID in a safety place.

I just got the package (good stuff, btw. still playing with it, but it looks GREAT so far) and it took me a while to figure out where the Registration ID was. I had to place a call to get the answer. I'm thinking you might want to put it on the package itself, or at least write on the sticker what that number is. You know, some sort of hint "DON'T THROW AWAY - important number here".

Just my 2 cents. And once again, thanks for the software. I'm looking forward to some longer nights...

Would it not be better that it is on the DVD case itself?

I agree with all of you...
But our original idea was to provide the Distributors/Resellers with the DVD box and the Registration ID stickers separately.
They receive four sticker/label for each package (I mean the stickers are still not fastened to the shrink-wrap) and we supposed they should prepare at least a letter for the user (or a custom Registration card) where they could fasten the Registration ID.

Unfortunately our forecast was wrong...

Thank goodness for this forum - and thank goodness it wasn't garbage collection day! I just had to rummage thru the trash to re-acquire that plastic wrap!
